Donald Trump's Cognitive Decline
It's the issue that the mainstream media refuses to discuss but they should
For the past few months many people have noticed something off about Donald Trump. His speeches are starting to make less sense than before. Yet the corporate-owned mainstream media won't confront this like they did with Joe Biden and instead they seem to be sticking their fingers in their ears while screaming “LALALALALA!!! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!! LALALALALALA!!!”
Lawrence O'Donnell from MSNBC is one of the few mainstream media people who have actually spoken out about Donald Trump's cognitive decline. A few months ago he compared a recent Trump speech with an interview he gave for a 1990s documentary about the history of New York City and the comparison between the two are simply jarring.
Additionally Trump's late father struggled with dementia in the last few years of his life and dementia can run in families. Then there are the rumors that Donald Trump has been abusing Adderall and other stimulants for much of his adult life, his personality disorders (like malignant narcissism), his fast food diet, and his lack of exercise—which all aren't helping his cognitive issues.
I'm not bringing up potential cognitive issues because I loathe the guy and I sincerely hope that he never gets anywhere the White House ever again. There are experts who are more schooled than I am in the field of dementia and cognitive decline who are sounding the alarm about this only to have the corporate-owned mainstream media completely ignore this entirely.
On top of all this there are the persistent rumors that Donald Trump is only being used by the likes of Elon Musk and Peter Thiel in order to get J.D. Vance in the White House. The idea is to keep Trump around long enough to get elected then have him removed from office using the 25th Amendment sometime after Inauguration Day, which is a topic I previously wrote about.
There are two recent Trump events that happened last week that further brings home how much Trump has declined.
Donald Trump at Coachella
Coachella is the place in California where the annual music festival is held so the Trump campaign thought it would be really cool to hold a rally there. People had to park their cars five miles away then take shuttle busses to get to the venue.
From there it was a total shitshow as Donald Trump bashed California and called the US an “occupied country” while the desert temperature went above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A man with a loaded gun was arrested at a checkpoint near the Trump rally. But the worst was yet to come. The shuttle busses that had brought the attendees to the rally left without them, which meant that the attendees were literally stranded at the venue facing the possibility of having to walk five miles to get back to their cars. (Which is a daunting prospect if you're disabled or a senior citizen who doesn't work out on a regular basis.) As to why there weren't enough busses to return the attendees there was one story that claimed that the busses didn't have enough gas and they had to drive a long way to refill their fuel tanks.
Another story said that the Trump campaign had stiffed the bus company so the bus company retaliated by refusing to pick up passengers for the return trip to the parking lot. That explanation makes a lot of sense given Donald Trump's long history of not paying his bills.
There are a couple of posts on Reddit making the rounds that provide another explanation. The bus drivers claimed that the rally attendees committed violent acts (with one driver being punched in the face, another driver being spat on, and a third driver having her hair pulled) so they left without the passengers for their own safety.
While what happened at Coachella is shocking enough, what happened next should be a cause for alarm.
Trump's Town Hall Meeting Goes Off the Rails in Pennsylvania
Donald Trump had a town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania where he invited his loyal supporters for a Q & A session. Apparently the room had gotten very hot and it led to two people fainting. After they were removed for medical care, things turned bizarre when Donald Trump decided that instead of answering questions (which was the purpose of holding that town hall on the first place), he would have music played instead. Trump spent nearly 40 minutes on stage listening to a playlist that included songs like “Ave Maria” and the Village People’s “YMCA” while periodically swaying his arms. You just have to see this next video to believe it.
And if you think that video is weird, try to imagine being there to witness the entire thing in all of its nearly 40-minute glory.
That incident has led to people on social media speculating on whether the dementia that Trump is supposedly suffering from has reached a new phase where he is starting to undergo an even further cognitive decline.
Yet the mainstream corporate media isn't questioning the idea that maybe Donald Trump has serious cognitive issues. In fact The Wall Street Journal had an article about the event with this headline: “Trump's Pennsylvania Town Hall Ends in Concert,” which prompted Mrs. Betty Bowers to respond, “Hindenburg's New Jersey Arrival Ends in Fireworks.”
Joe Biden had an off-day at the one debate he had with Trump a few months ago and Biden was hounded so badly by the media and even by some of his own supporters in the Democratic Party that he ultimately decided not to run for reelection. Yet Donald Trump shows even more seriously cognitive issues than Biden ever did and the mainstream corporate media is ignoring it because they are so eager to have Trump occupy the White House once again in order to put some excitement into their reporting jobs. His own niece, Mary Trump, made this video where she said that what her uncle is exhibiting now is nearly identical to what she saw in her late grandfather (and Donald's father) when he was struggling with dementia.
She further wrote this Substack post where she criticized the corporate-owned mainstream media for not calling more attention to this like they did to Joe Biden when he had an off-night at the debate just a few months earlier.
Even the Russian propaganda media has started to speculate about Trump’s cognitive decline based on that music listening session at that Pennsylvania town hall.
Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels Revisited
Donald Trump was a convicted felon for his hush money trial regarding his payments to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her keeping quiet just before the 2016 election about their brief affair that they had around the same time that Trump's wife Melania was recovering from giving birth to their son Barron. Well MSNBC's Rachel Maddow have broken the story last night that Donald Trump had attempted to pay Stormy Daniels again in exchange for keeping quiet about their brief affair before this year's election. Donald Trump is trying to do the same thing this year that led to him being a convicted felon for what he did in 2016. This video has the details.
What's really weird is that he's trying to bribe Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their brief affair when it's common knowledge these days. Their affair is no longer a secret since it has long since been released out into the open. It's possible that his cognitive decline is making him make poor decisions and letting him forget about the fact that he became a convicted felon for previously trying to bribe Daniels into being quiet so he decided to try the same thing again.
You might wonder why his family haven't attempted to intervene by getting him to leave the race and seek medical treatment. Unlike 2016 his wife and children aren't even with him on the campaign trail. Perhaps it's the way that he had treated his own loved ones throughout his life (as I read in the books written by Mary Trump and his former lawyer, Michael Cohen) that had led them to decide to wash their hands of him and not even bother with trying to get help for him.
This is yet another reason why the GOP should have never allowed him to get the nomination in the first place (aside from the fact that he's a convicted felon). If he's cognitively deteriorating rapidly right now, I can only imagine what he'll be like on Election Day in a few weeks. Hopefully he won't regain the White House so he can be sent to some kind of a facility that specializes in patients with cognitive issues like dementia—which is where he really belongs.
