The Roundup
Information on where to view the October 7 Hamas atrocities, the election in Taiwan, new revelations about Jackson Hinkle, and the anti-Netanyahu protests in Israel
I've been getting so much news related to the theme of this Substack over the MLK Day holiday weekend. Most of the news is relatively short and they aren't really worth writing a separate post about each one. On top of that, this Substack is a one-person operation and I don't want to be spending 10 hour days on this, especially since I haven't earned any income from this Substack yet. So here's a roundup of some of the stories that have been circulating on social media since my last post.
The October 7 Hamas Terrorist Attack
There is now an official website that has photos and videos documenting the terrorist attacks that Hamas perpetrated in Israel on October 7. TRIGGER WARNING: Much of the content is very graphic and parental discretion is strongly advised. You can view it right here.
The Taiwanese Election Result
Since 2022 China has been watching the Russian invasion of Ukraine because China would like to do the same to Taiwan. The main reason why it hasn't done so is because other countries have placed sanctions on Russia for its invasion and China wants to benefit from Russia's experience rather than experience its own potential economic trouble.
Meanwhile Taiwan is the first of many nations to hold elections in 2024. This past weekend voters in that country elected William Lai as president. That winner has angered Beijing because the president-elect has said that he wants Taiwan to continue on a path of being fully independent from China. Meanwhile Beijing still maintains that Taiwan is a breakaway province of China.
The Iowa Caucuses
Speaking of elections, Donald Trump has won the Iowa caucuses. It's one state down and many more to go until we see if 2024 will be a rematch of the 2020 election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Meanwhile, Vivek Ramaswamy has announced that he is suspending his presidential campaign and he now endorses Trump.
New Revelations About Jackson Hinkle
People on Twitter/X are starting to uncover more secrets about the Gen Z Lord Haw-Haw. Apparently he had set up his own company called—wait for it!—Fake News Media LLC. He also gave his title as Minister of Propaganda. His former Miss Russia fiancee, Anna Linnikova, has confirmed all this along with saying that he has been receiving huge payments from many Palestinian organizations and foreign countries. She also said that he hasn't paid his taxes in three years.
Here a copy of that filing for Hinkle’s company, Fake News Media LLC.
You can also view that filing online for yourself at this link.
Meanwhile, Linnikova has been sharing a photo of her bruises that she said that Hinkle gave her when he beat her because she wouldn't allow him to go through her phone.
The Anti-Netanyahu Protests in Israel
With the recent revelation that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew that Hamas was going to launch terrorist attacks in Israel before October 7, it was inevitable that a sizeable number of Israelis would be outraged. This past Saturday there was a huge demonstration in Tel Aviv calling for Netanyahu's ouster and demanding that Hamas releases all of their remaining hostages.
That's it for the roundup of recent news!
