A Trump Speech That Needs to Be Given More Exposure
He's talking about how people won't have to vote anymore after this year
Donald Trump is showing signs of instability that is only slightly better than Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s instability and that's because Trump has never mentioned having had worms eat parts of his brain nor have he ever messed around with a dead bear cub. But he's not exactly right in the head either. For weeks it has been mentioned that Trump's campaign is faltering because they had originally planned it around Joe Biden running for reelection and they were looking forward to calling him “Sleepy Joe” and openly calling him out for being too old and not being mentally fit. But then Biden decided to drop out of the race and Vice President Kamala Harris decided to take his place. The Trump campaign now seems unable to tweak its messaging to reflect the fact that a younger woman of African American and Asian American descent is now Trump's opponent.
Yesterday Trump totally went unhinged on Truth Social where he made this truth claiming that Biden's presidency was “unconstitutionally STOLEN” from President Biden by various people on the “Lunatic Left.” He also expressed his unrealistic fantasy that Biden will attend the upcoming Democratic National Committee Convention and try to take back the nomination so Trump can have Biden as an opponent at a future debate again instead of Harris.
Trump had really counted on going against Biden so he could use the same insults he used in the 2020 election and he now literally can't handle the sudden change in the situation. The mainstream media should be reporting on this while questioning how suitable Trump really is for the White House but they aren't. It's not the only time that the mainstream media has been derelict in its duty to inform Americans about the real mental state of one of the two major candidates for president.
A few weeks ago Donald Trump gave a speech that should be given more exposure by the mainstream media but they seem to ignore that one as well. (That's because many of them want to see Trump get reelected in order to increase profits and their corporate owners can get hefty tax cuts.) In this clip Trump said this: “Get out and vote just this time. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years and you know what? It'll be fixed. It'll be fine. You won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians. I'm not Christian. I love you. Get out. You gotta get out and vote. In four years you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so you're not gonna have to vote.”
Why would Trump say that people would never need to vote again four times in that speech? What does he mean when he says that it'll be fixed so people won't have to vote? His speech ties in with an earlier statement where he threatened to rule as a dictator on Day One. In a way it's not surprising because Donald Trump has long expressed his admiration for authoritarian dictators like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un.
A dictator never has to worry about getting reelected. North Korea hasn't really had independent elections since Kim Jong-Un's grandfather began ruling that nation back in the 1950s.
Sometimes a dictator will allow elections but they tend to be rigged so that a dictator will easily win reelection. Which was what happened when Russia had its election earlier this year. There were two anti-war political candidates who weren't allowed to run. There were three men who were allowed to run against Putin but they didn't do much campaigning (probably because they didn't want to risk the same fate of dissident Alexei Navalny, who attempted to run against Putin in a previous election only to survive an unsuccessful poisoning attempt but then was arrested and held in prison until he died a few months ago). There were also reports of ballot stuffing, which ensured that Putin easily won reelection. It was obvious that the elections were only held to boost Putin's ego and not to ensure any real democracy in Russia. If Trump was a dictator, I could easily imagine that he would periodically hold similarly rigged elections as an ego booster for himself.
While the Russians were passive about the vote rigging and Putin's reelection, in Venezuela, which also had its own election, it's a similar story with a different outcome. Like the Russian election, one of Nicolás Maduro's biggest political rival, Maria Corina Machado, was prohibited from running. Instead of accepting that fate, she got a surrogate, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, to run in her place.
Like Vladimir Putin in the Russian election, Nicolás Maduro also won reelection. Like the Russian election, there are reports that the voting in Venezuela was rigged.
But here is where things are different in Venezuela. Unlike the Russians, the Venezuelans aren't meekly accepting the election result. The people have been protesting in the streets for several days in a row. In retaliation the Maduro government is launching a criminal investigation against Machado and Gonzalez for alleged “incitement to insurrection.” So far it looks like the Venezuelan people aren't backing down.
What happened in Russia and Venezuela could happen here in the United States if Donald Trump gets reelected. He has threatened to rule as a dictator and has spoken about how people will never have to vote again after this year. It's obvious that Trump wants to join the likes of Putin and Maduro in the authoritarian dictators club. What's even worse is the question of Trump's mental stability, which the mainstream media is mostly ignoring, where he seems to be showing signs of having dementia in his speeches. His late father had dementia and these things can run in families so the possibility that Trump might also have it should be an issue that the media should cover. A dictator with dementia would be a very difficult thing for this country to deal with.
This election year is different from the others because it is no longer Democrat vs. Republican or left vs. right. This year's election will be democracy vs. dictatorship. We Americans need to vote in such huge numbers that there is no doubt who wins. If we fail to stop Trump at the ballot box, the United States will travel down the same dark authoritarian dictator path as Russia and Venezuela.
